Not sure, they pulled out of last years off the tracks fest and were replaced with the Ozrics (who were splendid).  There were rumours about a yearly 'gong fest' (cheaper than touring or somesuch) but I haven't heard any more of it...

There was a "gongfest" thingy quite recently in Glastonbury (where else?) - lineup included Gilli Smyth, Tim Blake, Steve Hillage, Miquette Giraudy, Mike Howlett, Didier Malherbe, not sure who the drummer was; no Daevid Allen apparently.  Some pix on the gong-gas website.  Certain gongers looking a little worn these days, but Hillage looks younger...

Back on topic - not Hawkwind, please.

Wishbone Ash? Horslips? Home Service/"Rise Up"-era Albions?

Maybe the Pink Fairies would reform too, all in for Gong/Ozrics/Hawkwind/Man

Think I may have been to that show already.

The Ukulele Orchestra Of Great Britain has performed an, at least, very interesting version of Silver Machine at Cropredy 2005. It's time to compare it to the original, or, let's say, to how the original members of Hawkwind would play it nowadays.
