I have just been asked to contribute to a composition (with Andy), and record an istallation piece for Exeter State of the Arts Festival. Andy Manson's "Possibility" is a unique working sculpture of a (lifesize) mermaid. It is also a fully playable guitar. You play the guitar and hug the mermaid simutaineously!

Anybody interested should look at http://www.andymanson.co.uk/mermaid.htm.

Fabulous.  Smiley I love the fact that the mermaid is "lifesize".
Andy Manson sounds like an adventure boy ...

Anji,

Yes, it's amazing. Housed in a huge hand carved clam shell, that stands upright on it's hinge end.

I watched Andy go from idea to fruition. Even with the knowledge of it's concept and size, it didn't have any detrimental effect to the sheer impact of seeing the final work. There is nothing quite like it on the planet.

Jude,

I'm gong over to Andy's Ark next week to caress her! Hmmm. I'll keep you posted.

I think that may be one of the most beautiful things I've ever seen, I'm truly gobsmacked. Please pass on my compliments to Andy.

I don't suppose it's very cheap....only it'd look good in my snug. Smiley
