1. Is Ralph McTell’s ‘Michael in the Garden’ a sequel/reply to ‘Crazy Man Michael’? 2. Is the intro to ‘Adieu Adieu’ a homage/copy of the Who’s ‘Happy Jack’? Just my Sunday afternoon musings...! Both songs are on albums released in December 1969, My Side of Your Window and Liege and Lief, but Ralph Mctell recorded his songs in August 1969, a few months before the October/November recording of Liege and Lief.
