Any thoughts on mid bill acts that have played in the past and should make a return appearance?

My vote is for Blackbeard's Tea Party who were excellent a few years ago and have only improved with their recent offerings

From the same bill, despite my expectations, IMO the Blockheads blew Horslips off the stage.

Being purely selfish, I’ve seen The Blockheads so many times (they play Colchester in December every year) and I also saw them way back in the early 1980’s with the late great Ian Dury that I think I seeing them yet again would cause me to leave very early. I did love Horslips though  ;D

Well, me for one, but sightings of Horslips, anywhere are few and far between.
Although various members turn up together in a fairly low key fashion. All five members and the more usual 4 + Ray Fean rarely take the stage together.

Makes me glad I saw them in 2011 then  :)

Following last years Al Stewart set would be very difficult but what about Dennis again?

Wendy said they were great! (But she was rather pissed at the time).

I thought they were great (as they were again last month at Hammersmith).  For me, it was the Waterboys who dsappointed me last time round, so if they really are playing again next year I hope they'll impress me more.
