Title: Richard Thompson’s Favourite Albums
Post by: Shane (Skirky) on October 03, 2018, 12:19:27 PM
A couple of surprises, a gnomic reference to the domestics, and an understandable error regarding guitars.

Many here loved it. I thought it was a huge disappointment. Music From Saharan Cellphones on the other hand intrigues me greatly.

Exactly the one that intrigued me as well. And his Watersons comments were fabulous!

Nice shout out to Moby Grape's first album.  The Sundazed edition is the one to own, but it is devilishly hard to find due to legal conflicts.  The other available editions sound pretty primitive on CD.

I managed to get a full set of those Sundazed CDs before Katz reared his ugly head.  The prices shot up into the heavens pretty soon afterwards.
