I don't know how many pitches but this year there was plenty of room and certainly not full. Great place to be as Trev said. Contact them directly, they are lovely people. I used for the extra Wednesday night so I could see Tradd arr in Banbury. Already booked the site for next year!

I'd be worried about the wild life. According to their website they have "woof peckers". They sound quite dangerous to me.

They supply the portaloos. Normally they are a caravan site with very few pitiches but for the Cropredy Festival they open up more fields behind and the long thin strip of land runs from the Bridge stores to almost the foot bridge that is used for Filed 7. Loads of room. And it's cheaper than the 3 day Fairport campsite at £10 per night.

Still quite a walk to the main field but close to the village for the fringe.

I was some years ago keen to buy this land...6.5 acres.
I proposed to the local council that a community centre called the Ledge be built here with aprox 200 seating capacity, doctors area, post office, and a youth centre.
I had plans for it be a round centre with a walk round café area, and would have asked all Fairport fans to buy a brick.
I also had plans to put the words to Meet on the ledge around the building.

I should have started more slowly, as it spooked the local council and they wouldn't back Me..shame.

It does flood readily, and would have needed the ground level to be raised.

They are not letting any extra vans on next year.

Only if everybody in your car sleeps in the same tent.  i checked with them today - its £10 a tent.  So mum & dad, with teenage brother and sister may be £30 a night.

They are a cross breed between dogs and woodpeckers, Yorkshire terriers I believe, randy little so and so's.
Only in Cropredy.

We are already booked again for next year.  How many extra vans do you mean Nick, that they are not letting on?

The owner told me that they wont be letting on any more than this year as they don't want to overcrowd it. I would think it would already be fully booked on that basis.
