Well, this is a board originally dedicated to Fairport and their ilk, after all.

With the Pierce Brothers being the exception that proves the rule, Pet and Mr Hannon hardly fit the model, so it's unsurprising they aren't higher in the TAW Charts.

For many years Fairport didn't even make the top ten, which was a little embarrassing.

They have done better recently:

2017 1st
2016 1st
2015 2nd
2014 4th
2013 2nd
2012 2nd
2011 1st
2010 Also ran
2009 6th

Gosh, my top three is that top three.  8)

Most years, I read the results and wonder if I attended the same festival as the rest of you.  ::)   ;D

i think it's a pretty good spread of results and a fairport result.
