Oh dearie, dearie me. What a load of twaddle, as Father Ted would say "Down with this sort of thing".

I've seen them in a couple of occasions and that's been my view as well.

If I'd seen them in my local pub I'd probably have enjoyed them, but not really up to Cropredy standard.

Fairly inoffensive, but pretty missable, IMHO

Must admit I can't really remember them- which pretty much says it all.

The singer sounded like she should have fronted a blues band not a pixie prog twaddle merchant.

Enjoyable to a point. Nice to see Bev Bevan play congas and Clive Bunker take the drums for a while.

Not my thing... but it was lovely to see them having their moment in the sun!

  This.
i wondered who the bloke who came on, to great fanfare, to play inappropriate bongos was!
thanks Tony

Only woke up when Bev Bevan was introduced but no idea if they actually played any songs in their set!

Yeah...mind you if I had any decent hair left maybe I would coiff it like that.....although on second thoughts..

Hadn't thought of that...maybe that's why he played the congos rather than the drums in case 'is barnet fell off  ;D

Bev looked ancient the last time I ever saw him play (w/Black Sabbath, Reading Festival, 1983), although me being 16 at the time might have something to do with that.

Didn't grab me at all. In fact, the only bit I can remember is Bev Bevan coming on. The music just passed me by.

Now if he had turned up that would have raised interest levels considerably  :o

Really oh I wish he'd have ventured on stage at some point, it's a long time since I've seen him singing live (1991 I think it was at Knebworth)

Not my first time seeing them by a long way . I quite like them . Good music whilst mingling amongst the crowds . Yep IMHO  not bad at all .

I thought their rendition of Bells of Rhymney was absolutely spot on - the best musical surprise of the weekend for me, and a great opener to their set. They slowly lost me after that, but they were worth it just for the first song imho.

By far the best of their set.....

I never got round to seeing Quill...they've been around for years, and people kept telling me that if I like prog and folk I should see them. I was under the impression that Bev was going to be the full time drummer, but at least they squeezed him in..just. They were alright, I didn't dislike them, I wasn't amazed....just about right for that spot on the bill.
