Title: Liam Schwilick - An explanation
Post by: Liam Schwilik on February 20, 2005, 07:01:43 PM
I thought I better explain why I took the alias Liam Schwilick...

When I was asked to enter into this forum, I needed to use some kind of alias. I really didn't want to be called Mr 'X", and I always remember in the past, when I worked with Maart, his enduring enthusiasm for anagrams.

I took William Hicks and through an anagram, formed Liam Schwilick. Not for any particular reason, other than Bill Hicks short life left a powerfull message about the world we live in.

Not for the faint hearted ,Bill tells stories of real life experience. If you have not already heard of him, check him out.

Mark

"That this house notes with sadness the 10th anniversary of the death of Bill Hicks,
on February 26th 1994, at the age of 33; recalls his assertion that his words would be a
bullet in the heart of consumerism, capitalism and the American Dream; and mourns the
passing of one of the few people who may be mentioned as being worthy of inclusion with
Lenny Bruce in any list of unflinching and painfully honest political philosophers."
- Stephen Pound MP; Parliamentary House of Commons
