Title: WAZ Post by: JJ (Joanna) on December 31, 2004, 07:24:44 PM Hi Maart - good to hear from you - always LOVE the colourful suits at Croppers, always look out for them! Is WAZ is, or was, if you see what I mean?!!! ::) ???
Title: Re: WAZ Post by: Maart on January 01, 2005, 08:09:08 PM WAZ! is was at the moment. Just before the last tour that WAZ! did, Pete Zorn had to cancel at the last minute and it became a game of diary juggling which became stressful. I like to think that it's on hold and that one day we can do something together again.

Paul Title: Re: WAZ Post by: Maart on January 01, 2005, 10:22:50 PM Of course! However, WAZ! having played at Cropredy, there are other people I would like to play with too - like Beth Nielsen Chapman or Yusuf Islam or Kieran Halpin.
Maart. Title: Re: WAZ Post by: Ces on January 01, 2005, 10:30:23 PM And if there was a "Maart' band....who would you like in it?
Title: Re: WAZ Post by: Maart on January 01, 2005, 10:38:41 PM Realistically or idealistically?
Maart Title: Re: WAZ Post by: Ces on January 01, 2005, 10:39:45 PM Realistically or idealistically? Maart Go on - give us both! ;D Title: Re: WAZ Post by: Maart on January 01, 2005, 10:59:13 PM Idealistically - Drums: Gerry Conway; Bass: Dave Pegg; Keyboards: Kerry Minnear; Rhythm guitar: Simon Nicol; Multi-Instrumentalist: Pete Zorn; Vocalist: Chris While; Lead guitar: yours truly.
Realistically - Drums: Paul Burgess or John Coghlan; Bass: Mick Bennion (from Banbury); Keyboards: I'm still looking; Multi-Instrumentalist: Pete Zorn; Vocalist: Me and Pete; Lead guitar: me. There's always room for Chris Leslie and Chris Parkinson. That's today's answer but it's a bit like Desert Island Discs. Maart |
