Title: Vikki Clayton tour dates Post by: davidmjs on April 24, 2026, 12:37:56 PM I have some vague recollection of this being mentioned, but I couldn't find it anywhere...so thought it warranted a thread on its own.

Last time I saw her in concert was back in the Nineties at Nettlebed, in a trio. It was all a bit too jazz for me that night so I would hope for something a bit folkier this time round. Title: Re: Vikki Clayton tour dates Post by: mickf on April 29, 2026, 05:44:41 PM I've just looked at the dates, as well as the picture above. What's all this 'Folk Diva' business?
Title: Re: Vikki Clayton tour dates Post by: davidmjs on April 29, 2026, 06:42:44 PM What's all this 'Folk Diva' business? Indeed, I think that could have been worded better... Title: Re: Vikki Clayton tour dates Post by: Will S on April 30, 2026, 08:56:06 AM Seems to be how she markets herself. Don't quite know why. Maybe it was a description someone gave her once? But given the double meaning of 'diva', it may not be the best one (maybe it doesn't have the pejorative meaning in Australia?).
