Might be worth a listen. Shame there is no vinyl.

I've almost weaned myself off new vinyl these days, and I've become rather passionate about CDs again, although I never really left them behind.  I've heard so many appalling quality recent presses at ridiculous prices that I'll be quite happy if I never here a new vinyl release again....  Now, I know I love cassettes (and there's a historical reason for that, but it's often a little tongue in cheek) but CDs are clearly the best music format ever, aren't they?

Had a listen to the sampler and it indeed sounds like an interesting mix of Gryphon and FC. Never heard a fox called Reynold before, it's usually Reynard, but perhaps Reynold slips easier off the tongue ...

It has gone up on Bandcamp this morning, and I'm having a listen now, and am impressed.  Reminds me of No Roses as much as anything else - there is an overlap in 'Poor Murdered Woman'.  I think I'll be investing.

Just finished listening myself.  Here it is https://talkingelephantrecords.bandcamp.com/album/bold-reynold-david-carroll-and-friends

It's very good indeed, in an old school mellowish folk-rocking kind of a stylie.  I really like it, but I wonder if it's got legs?  We will see.

ps Tom Spencer from the Professionals is a bit of a weird one!

At least it's not Martin Shaw from the Professionals.
