Listening to Peggy on Listen Again.

It's ok. Played some nice stuff off Box of Pegg's.

There's a song called Lonnie Donegan's gone! Odd, but quaint. Saw Lonnie Donegan's son at Americana last year: he was darn good!

Thank you Ollie! I suppose it struck a chord with me because I was "brought up" on Lonnie Donegan - and Elvis, and Tommy Steele - due to having much older sisters.

Hi, just thought for the record, that not counting anything that may have been unearthed on the Box Of Peggs, Peggy has played double bass on-Over The Next Hill-Auld Lang Syne, The Five Seasons-Cup Of Tea Medley, and Rhythm Of The Time, Wood and The Wire-Western Wind. Also, on at least one Ian Campbell reunion, that being Swarb's 50th Birthday album, Keech In The Creel and Viva La Quince Brigade. Haven't looked at any of the Free Reed Fairport boxes yet for anything else! All I know is the jumping through the double bass story is priceless, and I wish I could have been there!!!
