There's no pages included of FC on the web page, but I don't recall another instance of Fairport joining the ranks of bands with a 'The' prefix during the sixties. In "Fairportfolio", there's a reproduction of the flyer for their first gig which includes the phrase "A mass conversion to the Fairport Convention". |
