We were at Spalding Folk club last night and saw posters for Fairport at The South Holland Centre 29th May 2014 £20, could not see it on the Fairport website gig page so thought you might like a heads up.

Looks like Pocklington on 8th May is heading for a sellout. Less than 50 tickets left.

Booked my tickets for Chatham on 3rd May, so pleased they're playing the Central Theatre, it's my nearest!

Cameo Hotel, Copdock, Ipswich on 13/5/14 is being advertised by the promoter in a local listings magazine as a full electric set.

Ha! Conversely, back in the Maart/DM days, I remember taking some friends to a gig at the Half Moon advertised as Fairport Acoustic Convention only to witness a raucous electric set by the full band.

Which was nice  Smiley

Great night at Chatham yesterday!

Some songs are the same as the Winter Tour but not all.

If anyone wants to know the setlist send me a PM.

The band were all on good form, only one we didn't hear speak was Gerry.

Great to see Peggy back in the band, although his hand still isn't fully healed he managed to play Ukulele Bass throughout the show.

If I counted right Chris Leslie played a total of five different instruments, he was already up to three by the second song!

Thoroughly enjoyable evening, loved all the songs. Two stood out for me Fotheringay and John Gaudie.

Good night at Nettlebed.  Four new songs (I think) - one from Chris' new album and the other three presumably will show up on the new album.  A lot of old favourites, but I enjoyed the way they always find something new in the arrangements.

A very good show at The Borderline last night, a slightly unusual atmosphere as more used to seeing the guys in seated venues, but lots of fun. Great versions of Portmeirion, Hiring Fair, Fotheringay and John Gaudie. Peggy still playing the ukulele bass due to digit injury, but sounding absolutely fine. Dare I say it...they were on better form last night than when I caught them on the Winter Tour back in February...

The Cardiff gig tonight was excellent. A great range of songs old and brand new.

Excellent gig at Worcester last night. Simon's "thank you for a lovely evening" at the end sounded and looked 100% heartfelt.

Peggy on the uke bass sounded great to me - even tho' he & soundman Simon Y had to deal with an "amplificatory" gremlin quite early on. Peggy did say that his finger was continuing to get stronger, but that the uke bass is easier to play (well) at the moment.

And I must say that Simon N's handling of what sounded like an inebriated female French heckler either side of the interval was superb. And funny!

All the band looked very well and very happy.  We were sat in a box to Chris' side, and I'd never noticed until last night just how much care & thought Jerry puts into the percussion... and he makes it all look so easy.

Good on yer, chaps!

Brilliant Gig in my home town last night.Nearly didn't make it due to the death of my partners father but so glad we went! Oh the luxury of ambling up the road to a gig! Peggys hand was giving him quite a lot of pain but he played brilliantly and was so lovely and kind when he knew what we had been through.
Love the new track written by Chris- a more rocky style. The guys really are Bloody amazing! Afro
