I am rather concerned that Dave seems to have disappeared without trace, well known to various Friends of Fairport in the 80s & 90s. Can anybody help here?

Give people time - a great many members of the board have been just outside Banbury since last Wednesday and won't have had a chance to catch up with Talkawhile yet. You may have to wait until tomorrow or even Tuesday as quite a few of them have long journeys ahead of them.
