Now, why did I originally think this thread was about the US tour??

I'm missing out!!! Sad

Better hit their website and see if there are any tickets available anywhere within 100 miles of Hertfordshire... Roll Eyes

Does anyone know what merch they are planning to carry on the US tour. I'll wait and buy the bbc set from them if they have it.

I would think that they will sell whatever is in their online shop, certainly nothing other than that. I don't think they will be selling the beeb set as they are not releasing it. I'd buy it from the web

The final night of the mini tour as the opening act of the month long Leek Arts Festival...

Everyone was very relaxed and we had a great night. It was a pleasure to hear Spring Song and The Vision from the new album for the first time live as well as all the other songs and tunes mentioned above.

A long journey on a school night.. but very well worth it!

You should certainly get that opportunity, Bob!

In the past, there has been a USA t-shirt....someone pick me one up please, especially if you're coming to Cropredy....but other than that and the new CD, I doubt there'll be anything else.

Sadly, all we have room for is a quantity of "Sense of Occasion". This is dictated by the Airlines' need to cut back on what they'll put in the hold or let you take in the cabin, the need to take sufficient personal stuff for 5 weeks away as well as minimal instrumentation, and the fact you can no longer rent a good old Ford Econoline (or similar..) but have to squeeze everything into a Chrysler Voyager (or similar...).
Health and Safety I expect....

Tom Paine was played on folkalley just now and the US tour was mentioned.  Hope it goes well.

Chris: just wondered where you got the info about the Norden Farm in Maidenhead gig on 7th September, which you mentioned a couple of pages back? It's not mentioned on their site yet! I will keep it free, anyway, in readiness. It's not long after Cropredy, but I will go anyway, because I love them.

Almost certainly, although I can't actually remember - from a flyer.
Mike Sanderson, who runs Nettlebed club, is the promter at Norden Farm for their Folky gigs, and he usually leaflets around....
You could always ring him. His number is on the Nettlebed website.

Cheers for that. I wondered why the Norden Farm things often appeared on the Nettlebed website before appearing on their own: now I know!
