how do-es a newbie go about asking someone to get that big fish or bigger fish or something on again, first band we caught this time round and set things up superbly.
zeppelin, porcupine tree, and bits that just melged into some summer haze, want more.

But, apart from Digance, acts are unlikely to return immediately the following year.

The hospitality is second to none, Mr Steam.

At Cropredy, backstage hospitality is provided only for the crew, technicians, sparkies and riggers.
The artists enjoy the same hospitality as the paying public, if they want a beer, they go to the bar, if they want to eat, they visit Leon, just like everybody else.
In summary, the catering for artists is pretty damn good, but it ain't free. On the other hand as Jude so rightly says, the hospitality is second to none.

No I wasn't - what I meant was that what you write needs to make sense....
Spelling & Grammar aren't necessarily necessary....

Other than Richard Digance, I don't think any act has been booked two years running. Probably because there are many good acts around, and it'd be silly not to get as many as possible...I'm sure bands would like to play two years running - it's a booking policy.

and on booking policies it is well known that bands have only been booked if Peggy has seen them himself - word of mouth and recommendations are not good enough.

So, maybe complementary tickets to Fairport Towers when playing in the area may help.

I seem to have started something bigger than i meant, i wasn't suggesting in any way that you all don't look after everyone fantastically, obviously i've never been backstage at crop, but everything else on the site is superb,  Grin
espescially the childrens area, spent a whole day in there with our two and still felt like part of the festival, excellent job all round.
i'll keep my ill judged comments under my fez in furture. Lips Sealed
