Booked for Oxford a while ago. Now my son tells me I'm going to the Barbican too.  Saw 1000 years at Sadler's Wells and also at RFH the following year. Didn't I read somewhere that this is a new one ? (I mean different songs, not a different thousand years!) |

That is quite different from the shows a few years back. I'm glad Friday On My Mind is still in the show though. Can't wait to hear him doing Everybody's Got To Learn Sometime. Hope he plays it at the Brighton gig.

The best song in my humble opinion was So Ben, the italian cuckolding song, which he also played at the start of the Tom Robinson interview. I enjoyed the first half most.. he sounds great on some really old songs!

Not the Messiah, but a traditional carol. The lyrics to several versions are here. The previous number was opera - From Purcell's Dido and Aenaes. Sorry to have missed you both Issi and Chris, but it was great to meet relative newcomer Dave, to whom many thanks for the ticket. |

You were miles away, Chris! We saw Issy at Basingstoke! I thought it was a really good show. Very different from the set at Sadlers Wells and with much more spotlight on Judith Owen than before. Yeah, he's good... Cheers Nick |
