Im very, very, very happy. Two of my favourite Bands at one festival.

I love oysterband and am so pleased. (The levellers we already knew about.)

Hope John Jones and the boys are headlining as anyone having to follow them is on a sticky wicket.

Saw Afro Celt Sound System at BBC Folk Awards - superb performers, more than happy to see Kate Rusby and Oyster and and there must still be another 5-6 bands yet to be announced...where is the big headliner though?
Patience is a virtue.

This is a strong lineup, nevertheless.

As I said happy with this line up so far. Hopefully will know the full line up before I meet up with friends to see FC at the Union Chapel on Saturday

Apart from Oysterband looking pretty good. Especially pleased to see Midnight Skyracer as I booked them for one of their very first gigs.

That will do very nicely, thank you. I'm liking the absence of prog and cover bands.

If Folk Rock had a Premier League that's five of the top eight at one event .
Levellers,Oysterband,Fairports Merry Hell and TradArr.

Very impressed, what a week it will be.

Rather stretching the 'one event' a bit, but, yeah...

A very decent line up with lots of variety.
Be interesting to see who will be announced as the thurs headliner as that is basically a big ticket seller.
If the thurs headliners a top act they’ve basically nailed it as the undercard so to speak is one of the strongest in recent years both in terms of quality and variation.

That looks very good. I admit to thinking they would take it a bit each this year after the big celebration last year, but this doesn't look like that to me.

Just need Camel, and Mark Knopfler as the Thurs headliner, for my cup to truly overflow!

Shock! Horror! Young children look away! Long running Festival surprises with a strong lineup! Naysayers aghast at organizer's ability to pull some surprises out of the hat! Such a sad state of the world these days when things like that happen  Cheesy

At least we have Fish covering his old prog band's album, for those of us who have a different point of view.  Tongue

Brilliant! Will Varley is one of my absolute favourites. Really great singer-songwriter that I’ve followed for a few years now. If you haven’t heard him, give him a spin - you’re in for a treat!

Surely oyster band Thursday headliners?

So if true our collective assumption that it would be a ’big’’ Scottish Band (as hinted at by some) was misplaced?

They were the Thursday headliners in 2004, and they are big in the folk-rock sphere..we shall have to see.

I'm pleased about Kate Rusby - she's one of my 'who would you like to see' acts most years.
Every time she's played near me, I've had tickets for another gig the same night, or playing a gig of my own.
We even played at the same festival once, and we were on different stages at the same time.
