Just booked, really good seats for Peter Gabriel, October 18 at the Moody Center!

In spite of the hype about its supposedly superior acoustics, I can testify from experience that it sounds just like a basketball arena. Nevertheless, I'm pleased!

Scottish indie / folk band Tide Lines this weekend. Don't know much about them, but apparently they're huge in Scotland. Anyone seen or heard before?

They were excellent at Cropredy, I thought. I'd love to see them again. Enjoy!

Amon Duul II in 2022 - Manchester and London.

https://www.songkick.com/artists/211277-amon-duul-ii

Delayed (due to serious illness for Chris Karrer) for a second time to May 2023

Is Renate Kraup Krotenschwantz still in them, my pal Steve poked her with tags when they did The Stonground in Manchester in the early-ish 70s. If so she'll need to bring her own smokes, he can't be there, or indeed, anywhere since 2016

"The band still comprise many of the original members, including founder John Weinzierl (guitar, synths), guitarist Chris Karrer and vocalist Renate Kroetenschwanz (né Knaup), as well as Danny Fichelscher who replaced original Amon Düül II drummer Peter Leopald in 1972, percussionist Jan Kahlert and keyboard player Ulli Linzen."

And now delayed once more, sadly which doesn't bode well.  I suspect this will never happen so I'm asking for my money back now, I think.  They've had it long enough.

Kate Rusby, May 4th at the Cathedral Quarter Arts Festival in Belfast.

Headed to Ireland at the end of April for a wedding and it will be a trip of firsts-
First major trip since the pandemic started
First time not going to Donegal on a trip to Ireland
First time actually staying in Northern Ireland-Newcastle and Belfast
First time actually seeing the Mourne Mountains and doing some hiking there
First time visiting Belfast
And to top it off, first time seeing Kate Rusby, playing a festival the very day I arrive in Belfast.

Yep....gonna be a time!

Hows your feet today Andy?
I was crippled after I saw them last summer , no seats 😱. They were fabulous.
It was that which convinced me no more standing only gigs

Jackson Browne at ACL Live in July went on sale today and is practically sold out.

I'll monitor and pick up tickets if and when they release good seats just before the show. Otherwise, I won't be going. Sad
