It's not that far away really  So, reviving a topic from 2005, after-hours music... I still didn't see any (or hear any) last year. Did everyone suddenly get too grown-up for carousing  Is anyone planning to indulge this year, what sort of jam session would members like to hear/take part in, and how do you get invited to them? Dunno Mix, I have to admit I was too plastered after hours last year every night to indulge in singalongs. Shame really. I'm gonna have to try at least one night not to get toooooo pissed.
I'll be bringing a couple of whistles and my ability to play the first 2 bars of Rosemary's Sister on the guitar. Don't know if we'll have room for the actual guitar though...

Last year we had a jam session on Friday night and we learnt how to play a straw. Beethoven´s Ninth on a straw was fab. |

Not so much music but after finding an abandoned plastic fork from the Oggie Stall we held our very own Cropredy awards ceremony, with appropriate snatches of songs being 'sung'. They were called the 'Fork Awards', and anybody who has heard my accent will surely see the joke in this. A few strangers did pop in to see what was happening and stayed, so I think it is a case of just finding an amenable group of loonies. Sandra |
