Here's a question?

When was the last time that a member of Fairport Convention was in both the Album and Singles top 10?

Would it have been Bruce Rowland drumming with Bill Wyman?

Or Ric Sanders with All About Eve?

Yes, but that's not the point.
These days it's almost impossible to come up with a question that can't be Googled. This was a very obscure fact and fun would have been had when I reveled that it was in the charts this year. If you just happen to know the answer, you could have claimed your prize by sending me an IM.

So what was the point then Colin?

Um, how do you know he answered the question via Google? Huh

I don't think he did.
My point is that it's almost impossible to think of a question that a Fairport anorak will not know the answer to immediately, or can't be found on Google within seconds. So to make an interresting topic there really has to be a bit of 'playing along'.

Sorry if I was a bit abrupt with Andrew.

I know what you mean, Colin. I knew the answer but left it to see what guesses etc would be thrown into the mix. I was going to post a mini-teaser this morning "Animal, vegetable or mineral?" (Animal....geddit?  Grin). Suppose you can't blame the lad for answering though....  Smiley

Oops sorry.  I didn't really want a prize.  Just knew the answer, that's all.  (didn't even have to google it).  I thought that was the idea of the post.  Sorry to spoil the fun.
