There's a double album from 1997 which is both Bridge Of Sighs and Twice Removed From Yesterday. That's all you'll need.
Yup this is true

Well, less (she does still appear) June Tabor than previously foisted upon us, for sure... I expect other guest appearances are missing as well...not sure if Percy is there on the '86? Has the infamous Sailor's Life been excised? Jules I suspect so... I remember being shown that Sailors Life by some very zealous folks raving over it. I really tried to enjoy it. I really, really did. I was thinking "what's wrong with me? Its June Tabor.....doing Sailors Life for godssake!" Then, one day I was struggling through my grapefruit during breakfast.....as I had done for many years.....and I suddenly realized: "Grapefruit is awful. There's nothing wrong with me. You people are nuts eating this stuff." I haven't listened to that version since! |

He's on tour. Probably needless to say, but I thought I'd say it anyway. The Sage, now the stupidly- named Glasshouse, still has tickets.

Where to start? I know there’s YouTube, Spotify, Last.fm, Friends Reunited and Ceefax, but what do you think? No timewasters. Box set of The Studio Albums, 10 cds for £33 on Amazon. Thats all I need. That's what I'd do too. I saw Robin live in a pub in Surrey in about 1984 and it was extraordinarily good. Crowd of 100 max. I barely listened to him again til lockdown. |

Bridge of sighs is a good place to start.
Google some of his live stuff, his facial expressions as he plays are a thing of wonder. |
