Don't know, but in the meantime the Steeleye version on their recent tour was damn fine...

Sorry, not a favourite of mine. It always seems like the folk equivalent of a Two Ronnies song, with all those double entendres.

When is FC going to resurrect BBH??

I'm thinking they should do it at Cropredy, and have Nev do another LEGO movie for it.

"..... but I'll be back in the morning and, if you are still here
We'll both go together again
To Hunt the Bonny Black Hair"

The final line says it all and every day is BBH Day at Peel Tower.

That's not true, actually.  I gave up all that business after a fall from my horse in 1830, 1850 1978, roughly.

A Lego movie to accompany "The Bonny Black Hare"? The mind boggles - even more weapon waving than the Matty Groves vid! They'd have to put a warning at the start like they do before "The Wire" and similar.

(NB having reread this posting I now realise the Rail Ale festival I attended earlier today has had its evil way with me, and I shall have to hit the sack - how the missus will react to the after effects of the pork pie with mushy peas doesn't bear thinking about though)
