Umm he didn't, but it would have spoiled the thread if I'd said Last Record I got given wouldn't it? ;D

Jude, the article says you are at High Barn, yet I can't see it mentioned on HB website. Is it out of date? HB not far from here.

It's James. He twists peoples arms like you wouldn't believe  :o

Apparently Keith owes him his first-born once she's of age...

I believe that Jude was asked to do The Last Book I Read by the people who run the site.

I'll take back all that recording time then  ;)

Anyway, first born doesn't like long-haired men.

You kidding? We owe Judy Dyble, big time for being part of the karmic circular interconnectedness of everything and agreeing to sully her impeccable reputation by, firstly, singing on our record and secondly, letting us play out our fanboy leanings in public. I get to be Simon Nicol, James gets to play at being Richard Thompson and our friend Kilbey will be playing the Iain Matthews role. Gibbon, a massive Robert Fripp fan, will merely be being, as ever, Gibbon.  ;D It's not advertised widely as, sometimes, the music's the thing. Having said all that James is, it has to be said, very good with the threat of a chinese burn.  ;)

I think that Chris means that in order to get you to sing a reasonable size set again after all these years (and with silly old sods like us, to boot) then it must follow that we have pictures of you in a compromising situation or summat like that....strangling a greyhound perhaps?  :o  :o But Skirky is, as ever, correct - I mearly issued the 'Chinese burn followed by a super-wedgie' threat. It never fails.  ;)
