Very strange...just given it a try out of curiosity and it's still there, not been "removed due to copyright..." So anyone wanting to download it should be able to.

Mark, the message you were getting usually only appears if you - or someone else sharing your IP address - has downloaded in the last hour or so. So unless you downloaded something else from there, it sounds like you may have a shared IP address. Not sure what else could cause it...

There seems to be some confusion.
The Sandy solo BBC clip is still downloadable from rapidshare (see link at the top of the previous page) ... it's also still at youtube.com (which as far as I can see doesn't do downloads) ... but the Fotheringay clip, which started this thread, has been removed from youtube.com.
Who could possibly have complained, I wonder?? Take him/her out to be shot  Undecided
Pity there wasn't a (clear, at least) way to download it from youtube ...

Thanks Alex! At last downloaded.
And thanks to José Luis Gallego, whoever he is, he who selfcredits rigorously at the end of this video ... and quite rightly so, this clip has been "hidden' too long.  Cool

Is there anyway to save those files? I don't like to listen on my pc when I have good speakers in the other room. The Holland fc show and the 74 show look interesting.

I think the shows are 'streamed' rather than downloadable, Mindwarper.

I particularly liked the half hour Sandy Denny show - it's so good to hear her talk and laugh: I'd never seen her live.

Don't forget the video of Thommo singing 'Adieu, adieu' in a kitchen somewhere near Cropredy, everyone.

You can download em during nightime hours in the US - so anytime before about 3pm here. I've just downloaded the Fairport Holland '75. Quite good, but they're heavily compressed so not really a replacement for a proper audio version. Handy if you're on the computer though.

To bring it back to Fotheringay, you can get the other Beat Club track - again, from Rapidshare I'm afraid - the URL for those who can use it is:

Tasha, just quickly - teabreak overdue...!

If it'll work on your connection - it sounds like it won't for some - it's dead easy.

Basically all you do is click on the link, then scroll right down to the bottom and click on the 'Free' option/button. That brings up a screen, again you scroll down almost to the bottom and there's some big red text saying 'Please wait 60 secs' or something like that. Wait for that to elapse and a little picture of three letters/numbers appears. Type those into the box. Hit 'Enter' and the 'Save As' window should come up. Just tell it where to save, and that should be it.

Hope that helps  Smiley

Told you I were in a hurry....it was your fault for keeping the rapidshare bit in your quote though  Angry Cheesy

That one's even easier. Just go to:

http://tela.sugarmegs.org/sugaree/

Right click on whatever you want.

Pick 'Save Target As' and tell it where you want it.

Shouldn't take more than ten mins or so.
