Kendal booked, including camp site.

It makes a pleasant change that the best seats in the house are still available.

Also booked for Kendal, and a rare outing for Mrs Brendan (who is a huge Sandy fan, two of her favourite songs being on the album Banks of the Nile and The Sea also likes Sally Barker so we are on safe territory).

Just ordered the box set from amazon.de - £10 cheaper than amazon UK, even including postage. (Thanks to R4 Today for reporting on the favourable £/€ exchange rate...  Smiley )

Paul, you could have found out all that from my post on February 27th here:-

Needless to say, I've done likewise.

It was a little cheaper, but for us Brits at least, by the time they'd added tax and postage, it's not quite as much as that.

I'm a Brit too - and living in the UK!  My order comes, inc. VAT and shipping, to 32.21 euros, or £23.87.  Which compares to £38.99 on Amazon UK

Will, I stand, or rather I sit, corrected.

(I wasn't saying you weren't a Brit, by the way!)

Even allowing for Amazon not giving us the best exchange rate in the world, that's so much better than the UK price.

Sad  I wonder if they'll fulfil existing orders or cancel them.

They are still offering the MP3 version, so I'm hoping that it means they have just sold out of all the physical ones.  I haven't had an email to tell me that my order has been cancelled.  Looking at my order on the Amazon.de website, it just says 'Not shipped yet', but has an approximate delivery date.  So I'm still hopeful  Smiley

Usually just means that they have sold out of their allocation through pre-orders. Happened to me recently with something. I still received it at the price I had ordered and it did subsequently reappear on Amazon when they got further supplies after release date.

They're probably waiting for the discs to be sent from the UK distribution centre..

Entirely probable. It seems that in order to get anything at a sensible price in this country now it has to undertake a round trip of up to 7000 miles first. Madness.  Roll Eyes
