« Reply #1 on: July 06, 2006, 03:27:28 PM »

That ain't at all bad. Pretty well original arrangement but bot bad at all, in fact the whole album seems very listenable.

Susannah Hoffs for Cropredy anyone? I'll be in the front row if it ever happens.

You'll have to fight your way past James SftBH, Jackdaw.

I had to share a bed* with the divine Ms Hoffs for the first couple of years of co-habiting life.  Angry

That's an understatement.  If truth be told, he's far too good for this particular project, but he's earned his pop stripes so he can do as he pleases.  If you look at the pictures (and I'm afraid I had to check just how Ms Hoffs looked these days!) then I'm afraid to say poor old Matthew has turned into twice the man he used to be.  The answer to the great pie query is needed no more. The best non original version of "Who Knows Where the Time Goes" is by Spire. This is not debatable Wink

I slept in the same bed as Shirley Collins once. But not at the same time.

Off topic, coat being fetched.

Explain yourself young Tony.

Anyway, Susanna Hoffs sold out the dream of California girl rock for a load of soft focus MOR rubbish. All right thinking Bangles fans lusted after Debbi Peterson.

I realise this is kind of off topic, but anyone else familiar with the legendary but obscure Saw Doctors song 'Kiss the Bangles'
Quote
I wouldn't kiss Bruce Springsteen,
Jackson Brown or Leonard Cohen.
But I know someone who'd love to shift
The drummer in Status Quo.
And I wouldn't drop the love on Bono,
There'd be too many legal wrangles.
But Jesus Christ Almighty, I'd love to touch the Bangles.

I wouldn't kiss AC/DC
Or Lemmy from Motorhead
I wouldn't kiss Tom Petty,
Tina Turner or the Grateful Dead.
And I wouldn't kiss Mr Tambourine Man
No matter how he jingled or jangled
But Jesus Christ Almighty, I'd love to kiss the Bangles.

I'd love to have it off with Suzanna Hoffs.
I'd love to have it off with Suzanna Hoffs.
I'd love to have it off with Suzanna Hoffs.
Err ... my favourite's Vicky, actually.

I wouldn't kiss Liam O'Maonlai,
Guns & Roses or Muddy Waters.
I wouldn't kiss Brian Wilson
Or his lovely yankee daughters.
And Shane McGowan is not my type
Because his teeth are green and mangled
But Jesus Christ Almighty, I'd love to bang the Bangles.

Oh Jesus Christ Almighty, I'd love to bang the Bangles.
