I wish they would get away form the 'chicken in a basket' headliners for THursday/Friday next year, when you could have people like Great Big Sea, Bellowhead, Eliza Carthy, or some of the NuFolk stuff like Tunng. Of course its likely to be Tommo and two doses of Fairport if were lucky  |

Dave Pegg (I think -it was definitely one of the Fairporters) mentioned in the programme that they had been recording it. can't be more definite - my programme is in England and I'm back in Africa. |

Now I haven't gone back through the 97 odd volumes of this thread - so if my suggestions are repeats - just ignore it - you lot usually do anyway ( maybe it's the accent..)
Waterboys - a must for the Friday night, but only if Mike has stopped looking up his own ar*e and has gone Celtic again.
Hayseed Dixie - that middle of sat afternoon slot when we need a lift.

How about this then? Thursday night - Old Crow Medicine Show or KT Tunstall Friday Night - John Tams and Barry Moore (saw them at Cambridge this year and liked what I heard) Saturday - Hayseed Dixie, The Big Yin (but would he stoop to our level)  and Fairport doing there personal favorite tracks. and please no Ralph McTell IMHO great song writer, but could leave the singing to others. |

To throw some laid-back, BRITISH, blues into the works: Eddie Martin.
To fill the 'Who He?' slot: Jinder. Absolutely mind-blowing (in my case, just a small explosion) talent in the form of a Fine Young Man from the south-west. (He used to live near Cropredy and the sounds he heard then helped to develop his musical interests.)
Friday night headliners: Dixie Chicks!!!!!! Yeeeeeeee-harrrrrrrrrrr!!!!!!! Failing that, La Bottaine Souriante.
