I thought they lived in Brighton now rather than Oxford (if its the same band)

Embarrassing  Embarrassed

The pictures don't show up on a Blackberry, so I couldn't see who you were talking about, Stu.

Cave.

Mr Care generally seems to be in the vicinity on Cropredy weekends, Mr Fletcher similarly and if they we able to join the band we would be in for a real treat.

The band  are regularly seen on festival stages around the country and their Kick-Up-The-Pants style would be enjoyed by many I reckon.

I saw Cave at Middlewich this year, with Simon, and they were brilliant, and I agree with Stuart (and others here) they really would go down well at Cropredy Smiley

Oh yes, I might have mentioned it before but, So would Songs from the Blue House!!!! Grin Grin

Steve Earle & the Dukes

Absolutely.  I'm just listening to a recording of Steve & The Bluegrass Dukes (feat Pete Rowan on a couple of tracks) from a festival in Denmark last weekend and they are SUPERB.  Would work well at Cropredy.

Interesting to see Donna the Buffalo in there...  Personally I'd love to see one of the bluegrass (detect a theme here anyone?!) influenced Jam Bands up there - String Cheese Incident, Yonder Mountain String Band or my current fave, Railroad Earth.....

Gotta agree with mix, it didn't do SftBH any credit. I had a look at melanie safka on you tube earlier this evening, and it seems she's still doing the rounds. One woman and a guitar. any chance for croppers next year?

Mix....please don't do this to me Grin
I still prefer the old cropredy format of having a comedy act as a warm up to fairports set (billy connoly). Fairport kicking off at 8pm and then some class act (roy wood) during the interval.
