... Simon Nicol continues his day job as bus driver in Amsterdam city centre:

 Cool

Renate took this pic today on her way to work. She told me earlier of this bus driver who was Simon's double and promised pictorial evidence. So she kinda sheepishly snapped this.
I'll get me coat.

He should ask for a pay rise. "But guys, I play guitar and do the singing!"

Nico Simons would be a very Dutch name to apply to this man.

Nico has seen a LOT of colleagues come and go through the years. He has been driving this bus since 1967, but he "has had 5 years off for good behaviour", as he jokingly adds, when he went off and drove a lorry between 1971-1976.
But as the bus was Nico's first love, he returned to it, and has been driving that again ever since.

Isn't this the lorry he drove?:-

He's even got the pen in his shirt at a jaunty angle, in case anyone's autograph hunting!   Shocked

No, I can't view it - all I get is a little red X

Edit: Should be visible now. This is why we don't like people hot-linking to pictures in posts.

Possibly your workplace proxy blocks the imageshack website, Bridgwit. I think it's a pretty standard rule for proxies in corporate environments (certainly was in the filter list when I was at Balfours).

Ok, this is hilarious.  But in Simon's defense, I do think he's still sporting a little more boyishness (Santa beard notwithstanding) than this fellow  Sleepy

I step back in admiration that Simon is a man of many talents. What else will we discover if we delve deeper
Perhaps he moonlights as a brain surgon somewhere
