Title: CSNY back
Post by: davidmjs on September 07, 2013, 08:38:18 AM
For all Stephen's harsh words at his mistreatment at the hands of Neil, he never says 'no' when the call is made.

Pleasing news...I was worried we might not see these 4 on a stage together again.  Now, if you can just all get on the same plane and recreate Wembley '74 sometime next year, I can die a happy man  :)

After the abrupt ending to the Crazy Horse tour, there will be a lot of folks disappointed that it's not going to be them getting back in the saddle at the Bridge this year.

Of course, seasoned Neil watchers could have almost predicted it would be CSNY.

I've never seen CSNY live.  Like David, I'd be there in a flash if they came to England.

Neil ain't never worried about that.  And all the better for it, imho... He's been keeping it real since 1965 or so...  :)

A review of Graham Nash's new memoir Wild Tales is included in the new issue of Mojo magazine. The review mentions how Nash recently wrote a long letter to Neil, to patch up any lingering grievances, clear the air, and pave the way for friendship and CSNY having another chance.  Neil's to-the-point response: "What a load of s**t".  Love it.  I don't think that means Neil is saying "no", more likely he's just saying "stop being such a hippy, Nash".

That's a nice interpretation, Jules.  Others are available....

Looking forward to hearing the gig.

As a postscript to this story, a week later Nash received "an apology for his hasty reply" from Mr Young.  What a pussycat!   8)

A friend of mine has a spare ticket for CSN on Saturday in Manchester if anyone is interested . The downside is you may have to sit next to me ;D

A review in todays Telegraph suggests they are in top form.

Neil says no to any more CSNY.  Looks like David Crosby has really gone and done it this time:-

James Raymond too, as part of a tribute to his father, which is a nice touch.
