In fact I've witnessed him behaving disgracefully (and arguably, abusively) outside Folkestone Lees Cliff Hall before a gig in the late 80's. And I adore a vast amount of his music, and enjoyed a great deal of his gigs right up to that very challenging to watch Cropredy slot.
