Title: Remastered 70īs classics Post by: Staffan on January 25, 2007, 02:41:51 PM The Swedish webshop I usually buy my music from, announces three remastered Fairport CD:s with release date February 26th. Gottle Oī Geer, Bonny Bunch of Roses and Tippler's Tales. There was no further info. Has anyone got any knowledge about label(s) and possibility of bonus tracks?

They'll be leasing BBOR and TT from Vertigo (or whoever owns Vertigo now) so they probably won't be able to go delving into the archives. Now if only someone would reissue First Light and Sunnyvista! Not my favourite, but definately in the top half of his canon. I bought (non-remastered) Gottle o'geer today. Its.......different. Had not realised befor I read the sleevenotes that its by 'Fairport', and not 'Fairport Convention'.
