Somewhat lower down the league tables of re-release costs, I've just nabbed a near-mint copy of Beefheart's "Safe As Milk" album (Buddha label remaster incl bonus tracks) for £1.99 + p&p!! I think I paid 14/6d for my old vinyl copy... from an electrical retailer who seemed to stock a small and random selection of records. That's exactly right - I'd forgotten Marble Arch... thanks Nick! |

Traffic albums on vinyl. I didn't get into them until quite late- i think it was about 1990 when I bought my first Traffic album- John Barleycorn because I had some familiarity with it. I haven't heard a Traffic album I don't like (yet). Whether it's the early psych/pop/rock or the later era jazz/soul sound, it's all good. Maybe you need to listen to Far from Home In truth, there are some pretty decent songs in there trying their hardest to escape from the production... |
