I hope that's not the case  Sad

If the career spanning (box)set ever comes out, will you play the whole of that in order as well?  Please....  Grin

Yes 25th September. It can be pre-ordered from Tonefloat here
http://www.crazy-diamond.nl/tonefloat/html/store.htm

the blurb says
the 180 grams lp will be available in a limited edition of 500 copies on black 180 grams vinyl, complete with postcard autographed by judy. the release date is set for september 25.

(Mind you I thought it was the 29th September, but it's only 4 days difference)

I did too. I spent ages signing the postcards just before the launch gig. Some have got kisses on and some haven't  Roll Eyes Grin

I think you'll have to trust to luck and serendipity... but there are more with than without, so the without one's will be rarer  Grin

I've come to this one very late, various reasons why, but...

Just want to say that this sort of thing is exactly why TW is such a great board. It can be funny, it can be argumentative, it can be educational, it can be all bloomin' sorts. But above all, it's a very friendly place, and almost, like a very large extended family. This, "Judy Dyble 'Talking With Strangers' Album Launch Gig" is probably the best post I've ever seen.

Could we have Jude on at Cropredy 2010 ?

I'm sure I'm not the only one who would love it, indeed, it could well be one of THOSE Cropredy moments.

Latest DGM (Discipline Global Mobile - the KC/Fripp web portal) mailing has a link to the album and a very nice write-up.

Apparently Jude is both legendary and reclusive.  The former is without doubt, but I really do think she should work harder on the latter  Wink

I received the vinyl version of Talking with Strangers a couple of days ago and I have finally gave it a proper listen. It is beautiful. The vinyl is a nice 180 grams and the sound is outstanding.
I like the signed insert. The photo of Jude is cool.
Kudos to everyone involved in putting this album together. It truly is a great album.

Well this is really a bit excessive* but lovely all the same..

http://www.thedividingline.com/p.html

I did a skype interview with Vince and Daisy Jane of the Prog'opolis radio show and they have given over almost the whole of the programme to it. There's a podcast you can download if you like..

* Only because it's two and a half hours of my music with me wittering in between.  Roll Eyes
