Yes was surprised to see a run of 7 consecutive dates in December too! Given the reaction last night, there will be probably more in 2016.

The t-shirt is dull though; I was going to say the design was dull, but that would be to insult the word 'design'.

The Sept 2016 show by Fotheringay in The Netherlands (Roots aan de Zaan, which is my 'baby', in fact am off in an hour from now for tonight's season's opener preparations, Katriona Gilmore & Jamie Roberts) moved from Fri 23 to Sat 24 September next year, De Vermaning, Zaandam, we're open for reservations however far away it is (rootsaandezaan@gmail.com). It's quite likely to be a Dutch exclusive.
It's on the Fotheringay website listed as the 23rd but this is incorrect (but the whole thing changed recently so ... 's OK).

German Fotheringay fans, keep an eye out too. We moved a day so it makes a German gig possible. I don't see it advertised yet, so best not to say where either, but ... central-ish Germany is a handy place for Fotheringay fans to be 23 Sept 2016 ...

Well, despite the "Back by Popular Demand, Jerry Donahue & Friends" advertising, leading this attendee and several others I spoke to to expect the same friends as last time, it wasn't Fotheringay this time around, but Jerry & some other friends, none of who I knew. Great night of country blues though.

One snippet of information I picked up from Jerry was that the gig next Wednesday at the Grand in Clitheroe is the live recording, making use of the Grand's excellent studio facilities.

And it can be booked direct off the new FC website.

We shall be there. Looks a great venue.

More dates added to their website.

I'll leave you to discover which venue describes the gig thus....

Quote
The line-up includes vocalist Sandy Denny, the band’s founder and twice a recipient of the Melody Maker award for Best Female Singer in the UK (beating contemporaries such as Shirley Bassey, Petula Clark and Dusty Springfield). Also on vocals is Sally Barker, a 2014 finalist on BBC’s The Voice in which she sang a duet with Sir Tom Jones.
