It is the North American release of (guitar, vocal)
No, it isn't. Well, it is but with I Want To See The Bright Lights Tonight on a second disc (which is actually disc 1 of the set). I appreciate that some of tracks from gv are missing but it was the equivalent release at the time. gv was not released in the US in its own right until 1984.

Here is what Wikipedia says about it- https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Live!_(More_or_Less)However, I just pulled out the Discography at the end of the Patrick Humprhies bio and it lists this as being a Canadian release in 1976 with the Island catalog number ILPS 9421. I mean it isn't Guitar, Vocal...but it sort of is at the same time with half the tracks. I'm guessing it was someone's attempt to fill the void during the retreat years.

I'm thinking that the "live" is less rather than more. Jules

I'm guessing they were recorded especially for the album, as the sleeve notes say that they were recorded a month apart in March and April 1976, which would have been around the time it was being prepared. So they also show Thowaway Street Puzzle being remixed by John Wood at the same studios on the same day that Flee was recorded.

This album has been re-issued, but on Amazon there's a review that says the sound quality is poor.
Has anyone here bought this reissue and can comment on the sound quality?

It might depend on what pressing house was used for the reissue. Some Island/universal vinyl is very good, but some us atrocious.
