Insane number of typos and pop up ads, but here’s a thing… https://www.classicrockhistory.com/top-10-fairport-convention-songs/ Number 9’s a bit of an eye opener.

I paid £148.93 according to Amazon.

Which is £222.40 today (Bank of England inflation calculator).

And yet my upper ceiling for what I will pay per CD has not changed a penny.  Grin

Oh yes it would be such a shame to abandon the toast, it’s always a lot of fun, as well as a great money raiser for TCT.
Count Amethyst and Pugwash in.

Somewhat lower down the league tables of re-release costs, I've just nabbed a near-mint copy of Beefheart's "Safe As Milk" album (Buddha label remaster incl bonus tracks) for £1.99 + p&p!!

I think I paid 14/6d for my old vinyl copy... from an electrical retailer who seemed to stock a small and random selection of records.

Following Pastie Boy's defection to the Dark Side do we continue ? If you think we should please reply saying you will attend. .

Here's Three reasons why we should.

1).  On average we raise over £300 for the Teenage Cancer Trust .

2).  Its fun and often its the only time we meet each year.

3).  In my opinion the toast is too important a tradition to let slide away.

If we get confirmation of continued interest and support then I will get Toast 24 organised.

TrevG

I love the idea of the toast and really hope we can keep it as an important part of our Cropredy.
