The TalkAwhile Emporium isn't a permanent music download site. The idea is that artists on the bulletin board
will be able to offer the occasional one off recording, or a 'special'.
All payments use PayPal and can be paid using your own account, or directly from a debit/credit card.
To download you must have an account, because what you have purchased is stored here and you have to log on
in order to access it. When you buy a download, you will be emailed a code that you enter into your account. The
file is then available for 90 days and can be downloaded up to five times. There is no copy protection, because
we know you are nice people and these artists aren't exactly 'fat cats'.
Please use a permanent eMail address. All of you purchase keys will be sent to this address. The address will
not be disclosed to, or viewable by anybody else. We will send you the very occasional update as to what's available.
For artists the deal is that PayPal fees will be deducted first (£0.20 + 3.4% per order) and then The Folk Corporation
takes 25% (minimum £0.20), which will directly pay for server costs. This resource is intended for artists who are
regular contributors to the board. (Rates for 'newbies' will have to be negotiated.)
The artists must have a PayPal account and raise requests for payment.
